The Command Post Podcast: NY explosion lessons, active shooter incidents


FireRescue1 is pleased to air the first episode of The Command Post — a podcast where we bring you expert perspective to hot topics, frontline tactical tips and leadership lessons that firefighters and officers need to be safe and successful.

The podcast series this week, featuring hosts Lt. Rom Duckworth and Chief Rob Wylie, discusses lessons from the gas explosion that killed eight people and destroyed two New York buildings. They also conduct a guest interview with Dr. David Tan, a medical director at St. Charles County Regional SWAT, ER doctor, and Board Certified EMS physician in St. Louis, who has developed protocols for fire and EMS active shooter response models.
