KINGSVILLE, Ontario — A fire chief is facing additional sexual offense charges after an investigation brought to light allegations against him in December 2016.

Kingsville Fire Chief Bob Kissner, 60, has been charged with six additional charges, including three counts of sexual assault, two counts of sexual exploitation and one count of sexual interference.

Officials said the new charges stem from alleged victims coming forward. Two of the alleged victims were 16 or 17 at the time of the offense, reported the Windsor Star.

Chief Kissner was formally charged with the additional offenses Jan. 5. Although he was arrested Dec. 10, 2016, he was released on a promise to appear at his next court date.

Chief Kissner has served the Kingsville and Leamington fire departments for over 30 years.
