2 FDNY responders hurt after ambulance careens into storefront

Officials said the ambulance was on its way to a call when it collided with another vehicle and slammed into a store


NEW YORK — Two FDNY responders were hurt Tuesday when an ambulance careened into a storefront.

ABC7 reported that the ambulance was on its way to a call when it collided with another vehicle and slammed into an optical store.

News12 reported that an EMT and his partner were transported to the hospital with minor injuries. The driver of the other vehicle also suffered minor injuries.

The crash is currently under investigation. We will update you when more information becomes available.
