Thorogood debuts FireStalker Elite Wildland boot
The boot, which withstands 500 degree temperatures for up to 5 minutes, gives firefighters comfort and protection
Thorogood released its first NFPA 1977-certified wildland hiking boot that lets firefighters wear a boot that withstands 500 degree temperatures for up to 5 minutes.
FireStalker Elite features a new Vibram FIRE All-Terrain Sole (ATS) that allows the tread to wrap up the sides of the boot to provide multi-angle traction and stability on uneven surfaces, the company said.
An ankle lock system keeps the foot supported and secure and the leather is resistant to both flames and cuts.
