Budge Currier, ENP

Since 2011 Budge has served with the California Governor’s Office of Emergency Services (Cal OES). In his current role as the 911 Emergency Communications Branch Manager, Budge is responsible for the 911 Network that supports 438 PSAPs with an annual call volume of 27 million 911 calls and he manages the Emergency Communications Division, which coordinates the deployment of FirstNet and other broadband services and the Tactical Communications Unit that provides communications coordination and response statewide. Budge also serves as the Statewide Interoperability Coordinator (SWIC) for California and is responsible for the California Emergency Support Function 2 (ESF-2 – Communications) supporting public safety and emergency communications response efforts.

Don Ferguson, CEO and co-founder of NGA911

Don Ferguson is the Chief Executive Officer and Co-Founder of NGA 911 with over 30 years of technology experience in the deployment of large scale, mission-critical systems. Don holds several emergency call routing and services patents. Don served on President Barack Obama’s Technology and Innovation brainstorming team on modernizing public safety communications. Don Co-Chairs the Industry Council for Emergency Response Technologies (iCERT) Innovation and technology committee. Don also co-chairs the Industry Council for Emergency Response Technologies (iCERT) Cloud Working Group.


Ryan Reynolds, public safety leader for Amazon Web Services

Ryan began his career with the US Army, including service as Military Police. Ryan has been working in Information Technology and police services for 20 years. Ryan Joined AWS in April of 2017, and has built a team to deliver solutions that work backwards from the challenges facing Law Enforcement, Courts and Corrections, Fire/EMS and emergency/disaster response.

Matt Melton, business development manager for justice and public safety at Amazon Web Services

Matt is a graduate of the US Naval Academy and served as a Naval Intelligence Officer. Since leaving active duty in 2012, Matt has been focused on bringing innovation into the law enforcement and public safety communities. After working at multiple startups in the law enforcement space, Matt joined AWS in January of 2018, where he focuses on working with agencies and technology companies to solve critical problems facing the public safety community.


Nick Bruckner, corp. vice president of sales

Nick Bruckner oversees the day-to-day sales strategy and growth for Lexipol. Prior to joining Lexipol, Nick served as executive vice president, marketing platform at Praetorian Digital. In these roles, Nick has over 15 years of revenue growth leadership and personally secured some of the largest agreements on record with brands to the like of Verizon and GP.
