Emergency Reporting releases new analytics module

Analytics tool helps fire departments understand response times, staffing levels

Emergency Reporting, a web-based NFIRS reporting software, announced the release of a new analytics product.

The Analytics module is based around staffing and response time analysis. It lets agencies assess their effectiveness using the NFPA 1710 or 1720 standards or by setting their own custom benchmarks, the company said.

The Analytics module provides an analysis of departmental effectiveness by letting users analyze specific dates, times, shifts, zones incident types and more. Using this data, emergency response providers will be able to improve efficiency and defend their budgets against cuts to staffing and equipment, the company said.
