New carrying case helps firefighters administer naloxone quickly

With a growing number of responders carrying the heroin overdose antidote, Iron Duck created a kit to transport the drug

In response to a growing number of EMTs and other public safety workers carrying naloxone in response to an alarming rise in opiate use, Iron Duck released a Naloxone Kit.

The kit is specifically designed to hold everything necessary to transport and administer what medical officials are calling a heroin overdose antidote.

The kit comes with two pre-filled Naloxone syringes (2mg/2ml). It also is built with an inside mesh pouch for storage of multiple MAD devices and room for a CPR barrier device and a pair of exam gloves.
