JOAQUIN, Texas — The Joaquin Volunteer Fire Department (JVFD) has recently acquired a new addition to their arsenal for fighting fires.
The new engine is an E-One 3,000 gallon pumper tanker that is on an International chassis.
With this new engine the department will be able to work at fighting a fire without having to worry about running out of water at the scene. Getting the new fire truck has been a process in the making for a while now with a great deal of help from the City of Joaquin.
