Congratulations to the Fairbanks Fire Department on their new SVI Heavy Rescue! The 18’ rescue style body features rooftop storage for a 14’ rescue boat that can be deployed using the Liberator 3200 series crane installed on the upper body. This unit also includes a 200,000 BTU clean air heater system mounted on a slide out tray, a 9,000 watt Command Light CL615 light tower, a Hurst model JL-QE 5,000 psi hydraulic power unit, and a 5 HP air compressor with 17 gallon storage tank all mounted on a Spartan Gladiator LFD cab/chassis.
