Use roof ladders for orientation

The roof ladder is a basic tool that we can use for many purposes besides being on top of a roof. While it provides stability and weight distribution on a roof, it also provides orientation to the building.

Darkness, smoke and fatigue can make firefighters disoriented when on a flat or low-pitch roof. The roof ladder can point the way to both to the center or peak and the edge of the roof.
