Ohio firefighter's legs crushed by fire trucks
Firefighter Josef Tadijanac has undergone 2 surgeries to restore circulation from knee down
LEXINGTON, Ohio — An Ohio firefighter is recovering after his legs were crushed between two tanker trucks Sunday.
Firefighter Josef Tadijanac, 45, a Washington Township volunteer, was responding to a fire when a fire truck rolled into his legs, pinning him to a stationary fire truck, according to the News Journal.
"He has undergone two surgeries to restore circulation from the knee down," Washington Township Fire Chief Dave Compton said.
The house fire, now under investigation, was extinguished in about two hours but left the residence uninhabitable.
