Firefighters train for wildfires–
Colorado Army National Guard helicopter crew train with El Paso County firefighters. Purpose is to train ground crews to direct military helicopters onto hot-spots during wild fires.
This Is Us: Thomas Humann, fire pilot–
An amazing story about former Marine Corps helicopter pilot, Thomas Humann. After flying some dangerous missions in the Middle East, Humann left the Marines and became the pilot for Marine One, the helicopter that flies the President of the United States. Today, Humann is among an elite group of aviators that fly for CAL FIRE, battling blazes and fighting fires while protecting life and property.

A mylar balloon caught on power lines is believed to have been the cause of a wildland fire on private property. The property included oil pumping stations.
